Washington (CNN) -- A JetBlue Airways flight, bound from Boston to the Dominican Republic, was diverted to Washington-Dulles International Airport on Friday because of an "unruly passenger," the airline said.

The passenger may have suffered an anxiety attack during the flight, according to a TSA official familiar with the incident.

The passenger was taken into custody by law enforcement officers after the flight landed at 1:13 p.m., said JetBlue spokesman Steve Stampley.

The JetBlue Flight 691 resumed the scheduled trip to Santo Domingo at 2 p.m., Stampley said.

None of the crew members or 149 passengers were injured during the incident, he said.
