(CNN) -- Vince Neil, the former lead singer of the heavy metal band Motley Crue, has been arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly driving under the influence, police said Monday.

Neil, 49, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center and faces one count of DUI-Liquor, Las Vegas police spokesman Bill Cassell said. He was arrested at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

The singer was also allegedly involved in an incident in front of a Hilton Hotel where a fan said her camera was broken, Cassell said. Police are investigating that incident.
