(The Frisky) -- When Conan O'Brien randomly started following Sarah Killen's Twitter page (@LovelyButton) she got nearly 19,000 followers, a new iMac, a free wedding gown, gratis wedding rings, $2,600 in donations for her cancer walk, and the chance to meet Ludacris.

In return, Sarah is inviting Conan to her wedding. "My fiance wants Conan to be his best man," she said. "That would be really cool. And hey, if he wants us to come on his show, we'd get married on there. That would be fantastic." Guess she's not that big of a fan if she hasn't heard that there isn't a show anymore?

The Frisky: Celeb tweets during Oscars reveal what stars were really thinking (and doing)

Twitter has done some crazy things to our world. Nerds have become popular and we know more about strangers than our closest friends thanks to the constant updates of their mundane thoughts. And it's also set the celebrity world a bit topsy-turvy. Here are just a few of those who've been plucked from obscurity and thrust into Twitter greatness.

Queen of Twitter Dorkdom

Felicia Day is an actress well-known for creating and writing "The Guild," an award-winning web series about gamers. Web dorks are super into it. She's become one of the most popular Tweeters with over 1,744,000 followers.

From Tweeter to multi-book author

With a name like Biz Stone, you kind of have to make something of yourself. The co-founder of Twitter unsurprisingly became Twit-famous and has over 1,653,000 followers. Stone also wrote two books about blogging, "Blogging: Genius Strategies for Instant Web Content" and, ahem, "Who Let The Blogs Out."

Popular but broke

But Biz Stone wouldn't be anything without Twitter creator, co-founder, and chairman Jack Dorsey. The computer whiz kid has over 1,601,000 followers and happens to be pretty attractive. Now if only he'd created a revenue model to go along with that brilliant idea of his.

"Punky Brewster" gets a Twitter booster

Twitter didn't make Soleil Moon Frye famous, "Punky Brewster" did! Oh, and my favorite show ever, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." Anyway, Twitter made Soleil relevant again. She's amassed 1,426,000 followers thanks to her frequent posts about her family adventures. Her games "finish this sentence" and "what's your favorite ... " don't hurt either.

"Canadian boyfriend" gets a fan base

Jason Sweeney is the most elusive of internet celebrities; he's big on Tumblr. Though Tumblr never really caught on like the other social networking sites, Tumblr people are very serious about it, often only interacting with other Tumblr people. Jason's also a web designer and developer. Jason's Tumblr is called "I Am Your Canadian Boyfriend" and he's amassed some 1,213,000 followers on Twitter.

Twitter's most famous feline

Sockington, Jason Scott's cat, is known by some as "the most famous cat on Twitter." With over 1,529,000 followers, Sockington tweets about all the things a cat might be thinking and his owner sells t-shirts on his website and is trying to score a book deal. Yeah, get in line, tuna breath!

The most popular girl

iJustine is one of a scary group of girls who is gorgeous and also into all those things boys nerd out about when they're together. (See: Olivia Munn). Justine Ezarik is a vlogger (video blogger), most famous for her video "300-page iPhone bill." She also has over 1,137,000 followers, so I guess she's won the internet?

The most popular Twittering mom

One of the most surprising outcomes of Twitter has been the amount of mom-bonding. A woman named Megan Calhoun is the founder of TwitterMoms.com, which connects all those tweeting moms so they can share stories, recipes, and mom worries. Because apparently there are plenty of those to go around.
