(CNN) -- A Pennsylvania man anticipating the birth of his child was caught smoking marijuana in a hospital parking lot, police said.
A nurse who was taking a smoking break smelled pot and notified security at Uniontown Hospital, according to reports. Hospital security notified the local police.
"I am having a baby, and I wanted to catch a buzz," the father told police officers.
The man, who police have not identified, was arrested and released later the same day. Uniontown Police chief Jason Coxx said he expects to file drug possession charges within a week.
