(CNN) -- Stephanie Farhoumand was last seen with her father in suburban Los Angeles, California, on April 1, 2007.
Stephanie's mother and father were separated. Police say the father, Farid Farhoumand, first took Stephanie to Mexico, and then to Germany, en route to Iran. But he ran out of money, so he headed back to Mexico with his daughter, police say.
The two haven't been seen since.
Stephanie would now be 6 years old. She has brown eyes and light brown hair.
Farid Farhoumand, 29, is 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
Police say Stephanie could be in danger.
