BEIJING, China (CNN) -- Three men set themselves on fire in a shopping area in downtown Beijing Wednesday, Chinese state-run media reported.
The three were in a car when the fire started, Xinhua news agency reported.
Two of the men suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital, the Beijing Public Security Bureau told CNN.
The blaze was extinguished by police. The reason for the incident was unclear, authorities said.
