A train crashed into a truck at an unguarded rail crossing in Bangladesh on Tuesday, killing seven people, according to authorities.
The crash happened in the Joypurhat district, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) from the capital, Dhaka, said Mohammed Belayet Hossain, the director-general of the Bangladesh Railway.
Thirty-five people were hospitalized with injuries, Hossain said.
"The train hit the truck, which was loaded with sand, at an unmanned level crossing," he added.
