• Lining up for H1N1 vaccine: Stephen Kales of Silver Springs, Maryland, took his daughter out of school to get the H1N1 vaccine and found that a lot of people had the same idea. He was shocked by the long lines but said it was well organized.
• Four-legged tutor: Jennifer Sias introduced us to Bailey, a registered therapy dog in Charleston, West Virginia. Bailey and her owner, Jim Wilmoth, go to schools and libraries so children can read to her.
