(CNN) -- Barcelona have reached their first Spanish Cup final for 11 years after a 1-1 draw at Real Mallorca earned a 3-1 aggregate victory and a showdown against Atheltic Bilbao in Valencia on May 13.

Lionel Messi's late goal ended Mallorca's hopes of overturning a 2-0 semifinal first leg deficit after Barcelona defender Martin Caceres had been red- carded early in the second half.
Bilbao are back in the final for the first time since 1984 -- the year they claimed the last of their 23 triumphs in the competition -- after they overwhelmed Sevilla 3-0 in their return clash for a 4-2 aggregate victory.
Barcelona have lifted the cup on 24 occasions, the last success coming in 1998.
But of concern this week will have been their inability to end a winless run that now totals five matches and has seen their Primera Liga advantage eaten away by big rivals Real Madrid.
They could have returned from Majorca without a final to look forward to had understudy goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto not saved a penalty from Pep Marti in the 52nd minute.
The spot kick award followed a challenge that saw Barca defender Martin Caceres sent off and came with Mallorca already ahead following Chori Castro's strike on the stroke of halftime.
Mallorca's hopes of an upset deteriorated further when Josemi was dismissed in the 70th minute following a trip on Lionel Messi who clinched Barca's first domestic final for 11 years nine minutes from time for a 3-1 aggregate win.
Javi Martinez, Fernando Llorente and Gaizka Toquero scored within 37 minutes of the first half for Bilbao as they wrapped up their place in the final. "We didn't deserve to reach the final," said Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez, whose club had won 11 of the previous 12 outings against Bilbao.
Serie A leaders Inter Milan crashed 3-0 against Sampdoria in the first leg of the Italian Cup semifinals on Wednesday, a week before facing Manchester United again in the Champions League.
Giampaolo Pazzini scored twice for Sampdoria who ended the encounter with 10 men after defender Daniele Gastaldello earned a second yellow card in the 59th for tripping Mario Balotelli.
Antonio Cassano had put Sampdoria ahead after nine minutes and added a second three minutes before halftime with a Pazzini effort sandwiched in between.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho's 4-3-3 lineup failed to produce a scoring chance in the first half. but they perked up when Hernan Crespo made a substitute appearance on the hour.
Lazio beat Juventus 2-1 in the first semifinal on Tuesday with the return legs on April 21 and 22. The final is in Rome on May 13.
