(CNN) -- Kenny Miller netted a double to send Rangers to the top of the Scottish Premier League as they came from behind to defeat Kilmarnock 3-1 at Ibrox.
It was the striker's second brace in three days, after scoring twice against Forfar in the Scottish Cup in midweek, and allowed Walter Smith's side to move a point ahead of Celtic prior to their visit to Motherwell on Sunday.
Kilmarnock took a shock lead after 17 minutes when Garry Hay's low cross was stabbed home by Jamie Hammill from close range.
However, the home side levelled 12 minutes later when a Pedro Mendes corner found Madjid Bougherra at the back post and he nodded into the path of Kris Boyd to fire home.
Miller then helped himself to a double in the space of two minutes to send Rangers top of the table.
Boyd set up the first after 33 minutes, allowing Miller to race into the area before rifling home a low shot. Miller then pounced on a Mendes cross before squeezing between two defenders to lash home his second of the day.
