Jose Mourinho's men looked to extend their commanding advantage still further with Juve going down 3-2 to Cagliari in Turin and local rivals AC Milan playing later on Sunday.

But it was a day to forget for the defending champions who could not break through in a tepid first half.

The second half was just two minutes old when Rolando Bianchi headed struggling Torino ahead.

But Nicolas Burdisso leveled for the leaders with a 57th minute header to set up a frantic finish with Inter close to claiming the three points.
