(CNN) -- Barcelona moved an astonishing 15 points clear at the top of the Primera Liga table after crushing Deportivo La Coruna 5-0 in a devastating display of attacking football at the Nou Camp.
From left to right, Eto'o, Henry (hidden) and Messi did the damage as Barcelona out-classed Deportivo.
Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o both scored twice, while Lionel Messi also found the target as Barca became the first Spanish team ever to reach 50 points at the half-way stage of the season.
The result means Pep Guardiola's side have now gone 17 matches without defeat.
However, Sevilla later reduced Barca's lead to just 12 points once again when Renato's late goal gave them a 1-0 home victory over Numancia in Saturday's late match.
The home side took an inevitable lead in the 21st minute at the Nou Camp when Messi dribbled past three Coruna defenders before guiding his shot in off the post for his 12th goal of the season.
Six minutes later, Barca doubled their advantage when Henry headed home a pinpoint cross from Daniel Alves.
Eto'o was then left alone in front of goal to poke home the third in the 41st minute after goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia had saved Seydou Keita's point-blank header.
Henry made it 4-0 with his 11th goal of the season on 82 minutes when converting from close range after Xavi's shot had been saved -- and Eto'o completed the scoring with his 18th this season from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Aranzubia chopped down Carles Puyol and was subsequently red-carded.
