(CNN) -- American pair Matt Kuchar and Scott Piercy share the lead after Saturday's third round in the Turning Stone Resort Championship.

Kuchar carded a five-under-par 67, while Piercy had a six-under 66 to move onto 14-under-par 202 -- and a one-stroke advantage at the Atunyote Golf Club, Verona.

Australia's Rod Pampling (65) and rookie Leif Olson (68) share third place on 13-under-par, one better than Nicholas Thompson, who had a three-under-par 69 on Saturday.

American Vaughn Taylor, who led after the second round, shot a one-under 71 and is tied for sixth place with Jonathan Byrd (67), Tim Petrovic (68) and Fredrik Jacobson (69). They are all on 11-under-par 205.

Kucher is seeking his second Tour win after victory in the 2002 Honda Classic and is currently 59th on the PGA money list, while Tour rookie Piercy is 91st on the list.

Defending champion Dustin Johnson shot a three-under-par round of 69 and is tied for 15th position on eight-under.
