The British and Irish Lions beat South Africa 28-9 in the third and final Test at Ellis Park in Johannesburg to gain a measure of consolation after heartbreaking defeats in the opening two Tests.
It was a dominant performance by the Lions with Welsh star Shane Williams going over for two tries with his fellow wing Ugo Monye also crossing the Springboks line.
The reliable boot of Stephen Jones converted two of the tries and kicked three penalties with South Africa only on the scoresheet with three penalties from Morne Steyn.
