(CNN) -- A mother and her 3-year-old daughter were among victims of a quadruple homicide at a Kansas home, officials told CNN Wednesday.
Peggy Castleberry, 41, and her daughter Juanita Castleberry-Bess, were found slain Monday in a rural Kansas City-area home along with James Warren, 66, and Amanda Remmers, 21, police said in a statement.
No arrests had been made in the case as of Wednesday afternoon. Police would not release additional details, including whether the four lived at the home.
Two people arriving at the home about 4:45 p.m. Monday found the bodies, District Attorney Jerome Gorman said. He said he planned to meet with detectives Wednesday to discuss evidence and possible suspects.
The killings were the second case of multiple homicide in the city this year, according to Kansas City police.
