(CNN) -- Police are investigating four dead bodies found at a Kansas home as homicides, an official said Tuesday.
A toddler and three adults were found dead about 4:45 p.m. Monday at a house on Muncie Drive in a rural area of Kansas City, public information officer Emmett Lockridge said.
"Everybody is hurt right now, because our loved ones have been murdered. Not passed on -- murdered. Lives taken. Everybody is hurt right now. We're trying to deal with it," Shenia Gutto told CNN affiliate KMBC. Gutto said she was a relative of the victims.
Police have not released the names of the victims or the causes of death.
Police have also not confirmed whether the four victims lived at the home, Lockridge said.
