(CNN) -- Two people were killed and four wounded Sunday when militants hurled a grenade at a crowd in a popular mountainous resort in Kashmir, police said.
A 7-year-old boy and a tourist were killed when the powerful blast occurred at a bus stop at the Gulmarg resort in Indian-administered Kashmir.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, the second in the area in two days. Saturday, a deadly bombing on an army convoy killed nine Indian soldiers and wounded 14 others near the capital city of Srinagar.
The Gulmarg resort, about 28 miles from Srinagar, is a popular tourist and ski location.
For the past 18 years,Kashmir has been wracked by a bloody separatist campaign. Authorities say up to 43,000 people have died in the violence, although some human rights groups and nongovernmental organizations put the death toll at twice that.
