(CNN) -- Tim Rueckert of Liberty, Missouri, has been watching football since he was a child some 30 years ago, but he says never thought he'd see a team go 19 - 0. The New England Patriots have a chance to do just that when they take on the New York Giants in the 2008 Super Bowl Championship.

Pat Snyder of Albany, New York, photographed her granddaughter Tessa in a tiny Giants cheerleading outfit.

Although the Patriots' record is exciting, Kevin Waugh of Bloxom, Virginia, says that after the Giants' performance in the past few games, the Patriots better be on guard.

Whichever team they support, CNN.com readers all over the country are gearing up to cheer the players on. Below are e-mails from readers offering their predictions on who will take home the rings, and suggestions for the best way to celebrate the game.

Kavid Mathis of Fairburn, Georgia
I'm not a big fan of the Patriots or the Giants. I would like to see Tom Brady and Co. go for history and record it in the books as one of the greatest if not dynasty teams of all time.

On the other hand, the younger Manning (Eli), has proven his abilities to lead a team through the playoff games and look tremendous. What would you rather see: Dynasty perfection (Patriots) or another Manning championship (Giants)? May the best defense win!! Let's get it on!

Elionai Arias of Pflugerville, Texas
N.Y. Giants will beat The New England Patriots 24 - 21. This is going to be an unforgettable event.

After winning over Dallas and Green Bay, The New York Giants have momentum going and their confidence solid as a rock.

Tim Rueckert of Liberty, Missouri
I am having a party at my house. I want to share the moment of seeing history made. I never in my lifetime thought I would see 19 - 0! I have been watching football since I was a child in the early 70's.

I have seen the great Steelers, 49ers, Cowboys, Dolphins, and Packers, but these Patriots are the best team I have ever watched! Love them or hate them, you can't beat them! Go Pats! Come on history!

Cory Feaser of Flippin, Arkansas
My only comment is how can you consider it a perfect season for the Pats if they were caught cheating! Not taking away from their talent, but that game against the Jets should have been a forfeit.

David Freshour in Tikrit, Iraq
I'll be watching the game with a few hundred of my closest friends here at Camp Speicher, Iraq!!!

GO Giants!!!!!

Greg Burke of Boston, Massachusetts
I am rooting for the Patriots who I believe are already the greatest team that ever stepped on the field. This victory will solidify that. I will not be attending any of my friends' Super Bowl parties.

I am going to be where I have been for the other 18 wins, in front of my big screen. It is where I was when the Red Sox won the World Series and I am superstitious in that way. I have lived in New York and enjoy nothing more than seeing our Pats break their hearts once again. For many years our fans have agonized over our team's futility. However, being true die-hard fans, we stuck it through and the past 10 years or so we have reaped the benefits. It feels GREAT!

GO PATS!!!!

Dan Beaston of Las Vegas, Nevada
Hands down, the Pats will be perfect. Although Eli is good, he is not Peyton and cannot perform up to Super Bowl standards. Brady has proven time and time again that he is a textbook QB.

Kevin Waugh of Bloxom, Virginia
With the Giants performance in the last few weeks, I think the Pats better be on guard. Remember the other Manning's early years. This may be a shocker.

Debbie Stewart of Nacogdoches, Texas
As a Texan, I am having to watch the Super Bowl with a bunch of Cowboy fans, if that isn't bad enough they are all for the Giants. As the lone Pats fan it is going to be a great afternoon.

We are having a fish fry for all football fans and even some non-fans (I can't imagine). We are also decorating the yard in support of both teams, red, white and blue. May the best team (Pats) win.

Mike Nimsziano of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey
Being a North Jerseyan and lifelong Giants fan it's not even a question. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. This scrappy team came out of nowhere to beat everyone they were supposed to lose to.

Spags is gonna come up with some very creative blitz schemes -- have no doubt. If our secondary holds up (they should be all ready to go by game time) we can handle the shiny, arrogant, well-oiled Brady offensive machine. Two words --Jacobs, Bradhsaw. Thunder, lightning. This is shaping up to be an excellent, smash mouth, East Coast rivalry Super Bowl for the ages. G-men 24-21.

Jamie Cooney of Reisterstown, Maryland
My husband and I are going to a seafood restaurant and bar with oyster, clams, wings, shrimp specials -- and to root for the Giants!

MaryJo Bruce of Surprise, Arizona
I live 20 minutes from the stadium where the Super Bowl is being played. Too bad I don't have some beds in my house. Maybe I could have made a few bucks. It will certainly be busy in the city of Glendale where the bowl is.

Laurie Ferns of Sacramento, California
The only aspect of the Super Bowl that interests me is the half-time show featuring Tom Petty. Since I'll be at work on Super Bowl Sunday, I'll be checking Youtube.com for a video of Tom as soon as I come home!

Britan Grimmer of Arden, North Carolina
I will tell you what I am doing: Nothing, absolutely nothing. This will be the first Super Bowl that I will not watch in years. Simply this reason: The Giants do not deserve to be there. I hope I get called in to work overtime at my job. I refuse to see injustice (again).

Clarissa Smith of Columbia, Mississippi
I am going over to my best friend's house. We will eat, hang out, talk football and then enjoy the big game! We do this every year. This is my fifth year to go! FUN!

Gloria Pence of Newport Beach, California
I'm rooting for the Giants -- my son, who is in the Marines, is a huge Giants fan. So to show my support, I'm rooting for the Giants because Buffalo won't be playing (ha ha ha). We will just have family and friends over and have a great time. Lots of cheer and food.

Roger Randall of Winchester, California
Patriots by 11 points.

Layla Kean Montclair, New Jersey
Taking my friends for a pre-game massage to calm the nerves before the big game! The clinic's therapists are all wearing Giants jerseys and are open late on Sunday! Massages and the game for all of us! Thought it would be cool. E-mail to a friend E-mail to a friend
