(CNN) -- Premier League side Bolton have completed the capture of Swedish international striker Johan Elmander from Toulouse, with Norwegian forward Daniel Braaten moving in the opposite direction.

Elmander was a member of the Sweden squad that appeared in the Euro 2008 finals.

Elmander, who was a member of Sweden's Euro 2008 squad, has signed a three-year contract and concludes a deal manager Gary Megson has been looking to finalize for six months.

While no official fee has been announced, it is estimated to be around the £10 million ($20) mark, eclipsing the club record free Bolton paid Fenerbahce for Nicolas Anelka.

Elmander, a former league and cup winner in Denmark with Brondby, is best remembered for netting a hat-trick in the decisive win over Bordeaux 12 months ago that earned Toulouse their place in the Champions League.

"Johan is a player I have admired for a long time," said Megson. "He is a player who will get us goals and create opportunities for his team-mates. I am still on the lookout for other players to boost our squad," added the Bolton manager after Elmander joined England U-21 midfielder Fabrice Muamba in moving to the Reebok Stadium this summer.
