LONDON, England (CNN) -- England have expressed their disappointment at the proposed itinerary for the teams' tour of India later this year.

India's parade after Twenty20 World Cup victory draw huge crowds in Mumbai where England open their 2008 tour.

The Board for Control of Cricket in India wants England to open their seven-week trip with two one-day warmup matches in Mumbai on November 6 and 9 and finish with the second of two tests in the same city.

In between there are seven one-day internationals, a three-day warmup and the first Test all in different cities.

The England and Wales Cricket Board is unhappy at the absence of Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai and Mohali from the list of venues.

"(We) are disappointed that, despite their representations, the itinerary doesn't offer the thousands of supporters who follow the England team abroad, the opportunity to experience more of the great cricket grounds of India," the ECB said Monday in a statement.

"As far as the ECB are concerned the acceptance of the itinerary remains subject to acceptable logistical arrangements and an acceptable security environment and security arrangements being in place at each of the venues."

England are scheduled to arrive in Mumbai on November 6 and play one-dayers in Rajkot, Indore, Kanpur, Jamshedpur, Cuttack, Guwahati and Delhi.

The first Test is in Ahmedabad starting on December 11 followed by Mumbai from the 19th.
