The story

The French Grand Prix will be held for the last time at Magny-Cours this year but Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone wants it to return to a new Paris circuit in 2010.

Ecclestone has in the past indicated he thinks Magny-Cours is too isolated and that there is a limited amount of facilities for fans.

The circuit is near Nevers, a city on the Loire river, in the heart of rural France. Attendances have suffered in the past due to its location and lack of accommodation. Read full article »
