Renault believe they are within "one percent" of Ferrari and are aggressively developing their car for the Turkish Grand Prix.

Both the French team's cars failed to finish the Spanish Grand Prix, but Fernando Alonso qualified on the front of the grid for the first time and they looked much more competitive than in the southern hemisphere races.
