KIRKUK, Iraq (CNN) -- Six explosions rocked this oil-rich city in northern Iraq on Monday, killing at least 10 people and wounding 37, a Kirkuk police official told CNN. The explosions, which included four car bombs and two roadside bombs, detonated between 1 and 2 p.m. (6-7 a.m. ET), the official said. The car bombs targeted an Iraqi police patrol, an education directorate building, a mobile phone company, and an empty building once used by a political party, the official said.
