The story

About 100 demonstrators rallied outside Myanmar's embassy in Washington on Saturday, joining an international day of action in cities around the world to "free Burma."

Demonstrators gathered at noon and marched to the Chinese and Indian embassies to support the cause of the monks in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma.

Those in the group chanted, "Free Burma," "We want democracy," and "Free Aung San Sui Kyi," the detained pro-democracy leader. Read full article »
