John Bilmon explains the 'Water Cube

The National Aquatics Centre, known as the "Water Cube," for the Beijing Olympics looks set to be ready in October 2007.

A consortium of engineering firm Arup, PTW Architects, the CSCEC (China State Construction and Engineering Corporation) and the CSCEC Shenzhen Design Institute won the right to work on the project in 2003 and have worked together on their creation since.
