(CNN) -- A roof collapsed Wednesday at a hotel in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The glass atrium of an Embassy Suites hotel in Hunt Valley, Maryland, collapsed Wednesday.
The glass atrium collapsed at the Embassy Suites about 2 p.m. ET, CNN affiliate WBAL-TV in Baltimore said. The glass fell eight stories, said Elise Armacost, a Baltimore County Fire Department public information officer.
The Fire Department evacuated the hotel, which is about 18 miles north of Baltimore.
Fire officials told WBAL that one person may have suffered minor injuries.
Video footage from WBAL showed metal framework piled up in what appeared to be the hotel's lobby.

The building has 223 guest rooms, according to the hotel's Web site. Armacost said 130 rooms had guests.

A Fire Department spokeswoman said 14 fire units responded.
