Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani argued over illegal immigration.
Wow. Yet another debate has come and gone -- this latest with eight Republican candidates. The goal of these face-to-face meetings: To hopefully help us make informed decisions when we get to the primary and presidential polls in the process choosing the next president.
The CNN/YouTube Republican Debate tried to get the answers to your questions taking into consideration the changes in technology and voter culture. And it was different in two ways. As you noticed, all the questions were submitted by folks like you in video format on YouTube. It was only the second time that this has been done.
The second major difference was that Headline News broadcast the entire debate showing the real-time opinions of 24 undecided voters as they watched the debate in Florida. You might have seen it: Two lines on the screen, sitting right on top of the ongoing debate, one yellow, for women, and one blue for men.
All the business gurus here are wondering, are these two developments good for debates? So much is research and so much is gut. But at the end of the day, it's your guts that matter the most, so let us know any ideas you have about making debates better.
So, did you watch the debate?
And if so, did you think the GOP presidential hopefuls were rusty? It's been a month since their last debate -- were they eloquent or stumbling or both?
Also top of mind, who do you think won? Giuliani has led in many polls, but Romney has also in others -- both trying to solidify their gains and pick up more support last night. How about Ron Paul, who has surprised many with his recent fundraising prowess? The Headline News "People Meter" saw Mike Huckabee get a lot of favorable ratings as well.
Speaking of which, what about the Headline News "People Meter"? If you saw it, did it help or hurt?
And of course, did you get the ANSWERS you wanted on issues like the economy, abortion, national security and Iraq?
Sound off and tell us what you think! Then watch "Morning Express with Robin Meade" from 6- 10 a.m. ET and Headline News from 10-11 a.m. ET to see me share some of your comments on-air.
