LONDON, England (CNN) -- What is it: The Jurlique Just for Her Pampering Package.
The session starts with a 20 minute Hydro massage sunbath, a thirty minute aromatherapy back massage and a one hour facial - all using the Jurlique range of skincare products.
How long does it take: The package last for about two hours although Jurlique has a rooftop relaxation area and they encourage you to chill out up there either before or after your treatment, sipping a cup of herbal tea or a purified water.
Verdict: The whole package with its elements of lying in a warm bath, then a back massage followed by a gentle facial, certainly made me feel extremely relaxed. The spa is small and quite intimate and as a result you feel like you are the only customer in the place. The staff (including a qualified naturopath who can be booked for consultations) are friendly, helpful and very good at their jobs.
Best thing: The sunbath was unusual. It was designed to compromise of the elements (such as sunlight, water temperature and certain minerals) of the Dead Sea. Jurlique says the skin benefits after absorbing these elements. But while it's a bath in a room in Chiswick, and not the Dead Sea, if you close your eyes and allow your body to relax, you could be anywhere.
Worst thing: Location. Although the surroundings are quite lovely and tranquil, the day spa was a bit too far out of the center of London to make a place to just 'pop into' for a treatment unless you live in that area.
The after effects: I had to go back to work afterwards when really I should have just gone straight to bed. A pampering package is expensive so it's important not to schedule anything too rigorous in the evening to give your body a proper opportunity to fully unwind. But in the days and weeks after the treatment my skin was looking 'glowy' and there were none of the nasty break-outs that sometimes result from facials where less natural products are used.
Cost: The Just for Her pampering package costs $99.50 and lasts for 2 hours.
