(CNN Student News) -- Your students will learn about Iran's Islamic Revolution and the history of U.S.-Iran relations. ProcedureHave students work in groups to research the history of relations between the United States and Iran since the end of World War II. Instruct students to focus on the events that led to the overthrow of the shah, and have them analyze the revolution's impact on Iran's present government. Then, have each group create a timeline of its findings. After groups present their research to the class, pose the following questions: Correlated StandardsSocial Studies Standard II.
