Gaza blast kills Hamas militant

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- A Hamas militant died in an explosion at a house in northern Gaza on Monday, Palestinian security sources said.

The blast occurred in the Jebalya refugee camp, outside of Gaza City. A woman and children were wounded in the explosion, the sources said.

Hamas members have staged numerous attacks on Israeli targets.

The Israeli army said it was not involved in the incident.
