LONDON, England (CNN) -- Personal trainer James Duigan helps to shape the bodies of musicians, movie stars and models. The Australian-born 32-year-old's most high profile client is the woman known as The Body, model Elle Macpherson, who Duigan has been working with for six years. "The trick with Elle is that we keep it consistent," Duigan tells CNN. "She doesn't work super hard or do anything drastic or anything like that. Over the years, we never take months off -- that's generally the key for just about anybody. "You just stick with it and you don't have to do anything drastic and that's what works for Elle. "We need to change it with her all the time. We've done boxing, Pilates, kung fu, running and swimming. At the moment we're doing Bikram Yoga. We find new things to do all the time." Duigan's philosophy is simple yet effective -- enjoy the training you do and you'll feel better for it. "The way that I see it with people, (exercise) makes their lives better," he says. "There's so many crossovers with training in terms of feeling stronger. It's crazy to think we're not linked emotionally and physically and spiritually and it's just good for you. I think you should do it if you can." "You can do it if you know why you're doing it and if you can identify that with someone and get them really committed that, that's the secret. You've got to get someone's head before you can get their body." ![]() "Stick with it and you don't have to do anything drastic -- that's what works for Elle," Duigan says. QUICK VOTE |
