Reports: Several injured in Barcelona blast

MADRID, Spain -- A gas explosion in a building in Barcelona injured several people on Monday, news reports say.

One report said one person died in the blast.

CNN+ plus reported the explosion occurred on a property in the San Andreu district of the city.

Reuters reported that an 80-year-old man was killed and a 5-month-old baby was injured.

CNN+ said the blast did not weaken the building's structure and it was not evacuated.
