Harry joins UK royal family in wax
![]() Workers apply the finishing touches to Harry's waxwork. YOUR E-MAIL ALERTS(CNN) -- Prince Harry has joined other members of Britain's royal family at Madame Tussauds. His waxwork was placed alongside his brother, William, on Wednesday. And like William, Harry is dressed in a sharply-tailored suit, smart shirt and tie. "We've been inundated with requests to make Prince Harry since we launched Prince William's figure last year. It seems only right to complete the circle of the immediate royal family by including him," said Nicky Marsh, Tussauds' marketing director. "We're sure he'll be very popular and may even steal Prince William's crown as our most popular male." So why the long wait? Madame Tussauds says it declined thousands of requests for a Harry figure until the prince turned 21. His figure features in the London attraction's World Stage area close to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales. Harry, third in line to Britain's throne, is enrolled at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy. Nicknamed "The Party Prince," he has often been in the public spotlight -- not always for the best reasons. Last year, he was pictured on the front page of The Sun newspaper wearing a swastika on his sleeve at a party. He was also holding a drink and smoking a cigarette. In 2004, Harry scuffled with a paparazzi photographer outside a London nightclub. The photographer, who suffered a cut lip, claimed that Harry struck him without provocation. The incident was captured in newspaper pictures. Four years ago, his father sent the then Eton student to a rehabilitation clinic to warn him of the dangers of drugs after discovering he had smoked marijuana and drunk alcohol. Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds says there are still no plans for a waxwork of Charles' new wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. "We poll our guests on who they want to see, and Camilla isn't a very popular choice yet," a spokeswoman said.
