I work at the MultiCare Foundation a private non-profit organisation in downtown Kingston, Jamaica. We are an organisation that empowers children. Adopting a holistic approach to child development using SPorts and the Visual & Performing Arts to create a culture of peaceful coexistence, tolerance and understanding and to replace the culture of violence in our society. Started in 1993 in response to rising levels of crime and violence, and as a solution to the alienation and marginalisation of our young people, our Core Programmes in SPorts and the Visual and Performing Arts are operated in 31 MultiCare-assisted schools in East, West, Central Kingston and Greater Portmore. In addition to our Core Programmes we have established a number of initiatives including a Scholarship Programme for needy students to attend High School, The MultiCare Technology in Education programme which provided computer labs in three Teacher Training Colleges and two schools, a Support ! Programme providing financial assistance for needy organisations or individuals such as the YMCA, Boys Town and hospitals, an Inner City Leadership Programme for community leaders, and a Poverty Alleviation Programme. MultiCare Programmes are now being used as deveopment models by many other instutions. We operate a sports complex which is uded as the home of our Sports Programme and also by the neighbouring communities - and is widely lauded for bringing community factions together. We are endowed by Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited, Caribbean Cement Company Limied and ICD Group Limited. Phots wil also be sent.

Jamaica's people are only "warm" to you if you're straight. Homophobia is absolutely rampant there, and I would encourage fair-minded people to avoid that sort of bigotry.

Enough rambling about Sean Paul, Reggae and how lovely Jamaica is - Jamaica is NOT lovely thanks to it's 'warm' tourist attacks and Kingston is unfit for animals, let alone people. It's not a nice vacation destination and go knowing you are taking your life in your own hands... give me a big fat break with this sugar-coated nonsense.

Big up to Sean Paul, who is a great ambassador to modern Dancehall music, i've always enjoyed it and it's kinda feel good music whit real tough vibes, yeah! i've bought his last album The Trinity and this tunes are just incredibly, almost perfect. But track no9, Never Gonna Be The Same is still the best of them , because he's speaking to voilence in yard and all over the planet and it's a tribute to his friend Daddigan, a dancehall-dj, who was killed in early 2005, and to lotta other friends and relatives, who passed away! But i also like the lady tunes, esp Send it on & Straight up, the collabs are just mad! Big up to Loga Man and Kid Kurup, your track Change The Game is definitely one of the best off the Trinity! Hope, you would read it (which i can't really imagine, but it's just an effort) and respect to all, who worked on this LP, it's truly one of the best in this year!

Sean Paul you da man,
when i hear the music, it makes my heart go bam.
It covers me in a ragga sweat.
And it makes me go all moist and wet.
I think your mother would agree,
We could make a life together - us three.
Me, samntha and S Peezy, That would make life Oh so easy!
Setting up a house our own,
Will raise our babies 'till fully grown.
We will teach them to sing just like you,
But you're so amazing there could never be two.
So while i dream of this all night,
I know that it never might,
be here,
be now,
be real -
But if it were,
it would be the real deal,
for sure,
Respect!

Hey my name is Samantha, yeah I'm the girl that wrote that. Recently i was in a chat room where people were talking about me not knowing i was the person. Here it is, Im in my very early twenties and from the Caribbean. I don't know Sean Paul personally we have never met before, we aren't dating, and i doubt very much that he knows about this forum here.

People were wondering why I wrote what I did ok, here's why. Sean Paul to me is such an amazing person and entertainer. his music as i said before have made a great impacted on my life as a young person and it have changed my life in a positive way which i can't really explained deeply but it have. First time in a long time Im actually enjoying life and living to my definition. Why his music? There's something powerful about his songs which touch and changed my life....... so powerful that Im here today writing this. Im honestly saying is that im following my dreams about publishing my own book and it all have to do with his music for some strange reason. And I do believe I have a reason here on earth. For some person who seems to do changing alot of young people lifes today should actually deserved some type of reward. There aren't alot of people that have such a great positive influence on young people and really have them changing.

So like all of us on here today who love and appreciate Sean Paul music, talent, positive influences and great charm and attraction he is truly one in a million, Im hoping how he changed my life he is keeps doing it always may be someone somewhere somehow is being touch and changed by him. His album Trinity is the best album of year and it deserves Gold. No matter what others might say or do his album really do appreciates gold. I don't know much about Kingston Jamaica, im really not from his country but i live close to his country, so I can't honest comment on it.......... sorry. But much of us can relate to the fact that there's of violence and crime worldwide not only in his country but all over, his song track 10 I take you there points out that it is time we put a stop on violence and bring world peace finally. Track 9 Never gonna be the same is telling us personally to live life to the fullest and appreciate every one around us cause you will never know what would happen at any point of time, the only one who holds life is God and God himself. Yeah every one favourite is Temperature Track 11, now this track is totally off the chain.

So what are you waiting for get going and vote for Sean Paul Singles here. Im waiting. His other single Number 7 Give it up please vote.

P.S. Never hate a person for his bad flaws always appreciate them for the good ascepts of his life and determination. Stop hating Sean Paul for the haters (yeah there are some out there) stop hating and love him and everyone...... that is what he is trying to promote also in his songs.Hopefully one day I would meet him. My thanks for all who is reading.

His music is always fresh and clean no copys etc. I love that. his dances are good and i his music is something you wouldnt get bored to. 3. They are always making the money and aint boring to see fans or people who make them get to the top. But Sean Paul is one who should be recognized really. His music inspires alot of people especially us the young generation. And I think he should make it an effort to see this girl who wrote something like that. Sean Paul I love you still always and forever and oh Temperature really give me one its so hot love it

What can I say? SP is a great artiste. His previous albums I take as introductions to us. This album I see as consolidation. I cannot pick out any track I didnt like. But We Be Burning and Ill Take You There are my favourites. SP showed great versatilty in the album. At a stage I thought I was listening to Bob Marley and the next moment I would feel its Peter Tosh! Great album. I foresee plenty of awards and massive record sales. Most albums have good tracks mixed with poor ones, so I normally go for downloading tracks I like from the internet. But this album I knew I had to get for keeps. Quality. Samantha I know he is willing to see a fan like you. We girls got to stick together. I voted for him on the charts

Well sean paul was great back in the days especially when he released Stage One. Dutty Rock wasnt all that sure it had mad hits and it was played on maad radio stations. But I thought it was to americanized and its was sad all these people that havent heard sean paul before tryin to repeat his songs and failin at it. Elephant Man's Good To Go was better that Dutty Rock. When The Trinity was bout to drop I wanted it cuz it did have Legalize It,Ever Blazin(An old track), Temperature, Straight Up, Breakout but once again they hot tracks. Its All good cuz it was betta than Dutty Rock and prolly closer to Stage One than Dutty Rock was. I will keep voting for you. Awesome poem

In conclusion, he is not just another entertainer! I realize that he is a famous person, but in the end it doesn't matter to me, because I find him to be my role model for what he says with so much positive energy.he has a purpose in this world, which is (in my opinion) to bring out the best in every single person, like myself. I thank God every single day for making Sean Paul known to this world, because I have so much self love for myself, that it actually brings me to tears sometimes knowing that I have come so far, and Im only getting better. So in the words of Sean Paul

Deep ina mi brain inna mi soul I hold the key. I don't care if he is famous and got lots of money but he is on the best person I know...... Hopefully One day I would like to see.... He is truly one in a million His album Trinity is the best album of year and it deserves Gold.

Keep Up the good work. Coming from his number #1 fan_______

Sean Paul to you I write
I've not found you yet, but one day I might
This letter is to tell you, about the love I hold for you
And the many different ways, in which... I'll try to show I do.
I'll love you like no other, I'll hold your heart; with care
I promise, through all your troubled times, I always will be there
I'll stand tall right beside you, you'll never be alone
In my arms, you'll feel safe, and, my heart will never roam
Faithfully; I'll love you, no other woman could compare
When it comes to my love for you, Rose colored glasses, I'll always wear
When we have a problem, or simply disagree
I'll listen to your opinion, thatıs how my love will be
I'll never ask of you, what I'm not willing to do
I'll place your needs, before mine, that's how; I will love you
I'll never disrespect you, your honor I'll hold up high
Never once, in my life, to you, I'll ever lie
I'll share with you my secrets; I'll tell you all my fears
Because of what we have together, you'll even see my tears
I'll kiss you hard, I'll kiss you soft
I'll kiss you with such passion, you'll; get off!
Fairytale stories, you'll see, are true
You'll be the king; my love... is devoted to!
I'll try to be, the best lover you've had
And, still show you, my inner .
In your eyes, I'll always see
Love so pure, you have for me
I see myself old, with hair all grey
Still loving you like, it's our; first day
Holding hands or, arms to waist
Walking together, at a slower pace
One day, you'll read these words I wrote
At least my love, that; is my hope
You will know, when you do I wrote this letter, just for you

The world most influential person right now is the one and only Mr Sean Paul. I'm in my mid years of life and love his music. My son and daughter have made an instead change their attitude towards life, getting good grades, going with positive friends, and working towards their goals in life I must say have changed alot. All their been talking about is Sean Paul this Sean Paul that how his music changed them and I'm very glad it did. So I need him to keep doing what he does best cause not only Samantha changed but my kids as well. Samantha darling, as a mother you sound young you need to think positive always cause life is worth living. And you got lot of things going for you keep following your dreams and think positive.Last but not least Sean Paul you need to find out who this girl is and tell her something positive. She believes you, my kids believes in you and there are lots more young people believing in you so I'm hoping you never change.

I have to agree with Jacqueline he is a wonderful person and my sons look up to him, he is always encourages young people to follow their dreams and live life to the fullest. My two sons have changes alot since Sean Paul been around in the music scene and I hope you keeps on to motivate young people because the rest seems to be telling them something wrong. So Sean Paul could you do this for me find out who is that young lady name Samantha and encourages her to think positive cause you inspire her to live life is great and it would be a sin to lose one of our young people. She is one of your fan who I think you should meet don't let fame stop you for meeting her. I am always voting for you as well. You deserves a Grammy for just helping people

I dont really like Kingston, becuz its very hot there and to get around is a hassle, but its ok i guess, Sean P isnt really one of my favorite artists i like his music but being an artiste to me is to be able to have great stage appeal (which he has none), connect with most of the ppl in your country which he doesnt. Beenieman, Buju Banton, Sizzla and especially Elephant man are much better artistes to me. An just so most of you know most jamaican artistes will always say Bob Marley was their inspiration but truly i dont see where i can draw him out frm their songs.

Its amazing reading people talking crap about horrible conditions that exists in Jamaica and they have never been here and do not know anything about what they are talking. Kingston is a big city and with all big cities, there are good and bad. Why is it some people always seem to dwell on the negatives? There are some areas in Kingston that are better that some of the so called big cities in first world countries.

(1) Black Bottle

Kingston has a whole lot to offer in terms of entertainment. Whatever ur entertainment need, I am sure that you can find it in the ever exciting city of Kingston. Since i am being forced to choose forced to choose, my favourite hangout spots in Kingston are:

(1) Christopher's Jazz Bar in New Kingston.
(2) Hott Mondays with Firelinks @ 50 Molynes Road.

The feature was brief yet informative so much thanx to both CNN and Sean Paul for the effort. Jamaica's musical heritage is very rich and interesting, even though this feature touched on it, a whole lot was nonetheless left out. Maybe a longer feature would be even more helpful in giving the world at large a more holistic picture of the music scene as well as life in our often times misunderstood paradise of Jamaica.

Having lived in Kingston now for 29 years...I can safely say the conditions that we live in here are NOT as bad as they are portrayed in the media. Yes crime does exist in the capital but isn't that the case in most capitals around the world? The majority of the crime here is gang related and isolated to 'trouble' areas. Jamaica is truly a place of paradise and I would live no where else in this world!

as i watched your short feature about sean paul and his rise out of the horrible conditions that exist in jamaica i couldn't help but wonder if you would also be interested in presenting other artists that have similarly succeeded but do not have such a monetary success. i think it is important for viewers to not only be shown material success but also artistically.

Clint Lutes referred to the horrible condition that Sean Paul rose out of. Those are views from afar. As a Jamaican, I am guessing that from his family name, Sean Pauls conditions were anything but horrible.
