LONDON, England (CNN) -- Space tourism is being packaged as the ultimate trip -- almost as an extension of a normal flight but with incredible views, the experience of weightlessness and supersonic speeds. Will space really become accessible to all?

That is pure wishful thinking. The logistics of executing a succesful space mission are mind boggling and the cost astronomical. If we can't eradicate porverty with our available resources it would seem ludicrous to think that one day we would be space commuters since most still can't afford to pay for domestic flights even in their own countries.
