As a biochemist, I think scientists do sometimes exaggerate how good or bad our future will be because we have to set the bar high enough to feed our ambition of creating a better world. Most scientists dream of a world with limited deseases and being able to prevent catastrophies with the information acquired through science and experience. Thus, it might seem like scientist exaggerate on certain aspects, but did Mendel exagerate when he proposed the theory of evolution and Enstein dream of nuclear power? -------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------
