LONDON, England (CNN) -- She's the queen of Britain's fashion industry and an original punk rebel, but what's Vivienne Westwood really like?

CNN's Revealed team had exclusive access to the designer over several hectic days in the run up to her show at Paris Fashion Week, one of the most important dates on the couture calendar.

Here, director Jimmy Quigley, producer Stefanie Kasriel and cameraman Woj Treszczynski talk about their impressions of the woman herself.

Stefanie: "She's serene, dignified, and very ' together'. While her assistants and designers are flapping, she stays calm. She speaks quietly and never raises her voice. But she's done so many shows before, one can only assume Paris Fashion Week is water off a duck's back for her -- so why stress?

"She's open to new ideas. You can tell when you're in the presence of someone intelligent because they are always absorbing information. She really listens to other people.

"Some people in the fashion industry are prima donnas, not her. She gives an impression of someone who is almost humble and dignified. Although having said that, she does always command the room -- she has a great presence. She is firm, but everyone knows to be respectful of her. The atmosphere is quite harmonious because it is genuine respect, they're obviously proud to work for an icon.

"She does seem like a woman you want to please."

Jimmy: "On the Monday night, about 12 hours before her show, Vivienne still hadn't chosen the soundtrack and she was with the Italian guy who was compiling it. She came up with Stevie Wonder, then the Bay City Rollers, then she turned to me and asked for suggestions. I said if she was using the Bay City Rollers, she should use something by the Osmonds. The sound man pulled "Crazy Horses" up on his computer and she had a listen.

"The next day, we were filming the fashion show backstage and listening to the music. It started with Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", then the soundtrack from the movie Amityville, then it was the Osmonds. I heard it playing and I was quite chuffed.

"The whole shoot was great fun, even though it was very stressful. The fabric for one of the dresses only arrived at 11.30pm the night before the show and her staff were cutting and fitting it into the night.

"She's a lovely woman, very intelligent, very bright -- a blast. She also made me promise to stay in touch; she's a keen horse rider and I keep horses in the countryside.

Woj: "She was very natural in front of the camera, completely unselfconscious. She just ignored us and got on with things. Some people deliberately pose when you're filming, but she just carried on as normal. She didn't even mind us seeing her put on her make up, which is not something many famous people will allow you to do."
