Entertainment Weekly: The Must List
![]() "Battlestar Galactica's" second season is coming to an end. YOUR E-MAIL ALERTS(Entertainment Weekly) -- More Bruce, more Mohr, and eight other things we love this week: 1. "Battlestar Galactica" Sci Fi's intergalactic saga is about to wrap its second season? Already? What's gonna happen to Boomer's half-Cylon baby? Review: "Battlestar Galactica" 2. "16 Blocks" Okay, so we might not want to see Bruce in ''Die Hard 4,'' but we sure love his turn as a soused cop (and Mos Def's as a hunted hood) in Richard Donner's latest. Review: "16 Blocks" 3. Video for Jenny Lewis' "Rise Up With Fists!!'' Rilo Kiley singer (and fanboy temptress) goes all ''Hee Haw'' with Kentucky's Watson Twins in this sly clip. (jennylewis.com 4. "Control Myself,'' LL Cool J (featuring J. Lo) A thrilling dance-floor hit with a killer beat that'll keep you shakin' all night long. 5. "The Cutting Edge" The Olympic flame has been extinguished, but not our love for this hockey goon-meets-ice princess film, on a special-edition DVD. 6. "Wild Seed" by Octavia E. Butler A pair of immortals clash in this hypnotic tale of slavery, sexism, and power. This groundbreaking 1980 novel -- and genre classic -- cemented the status of a science-fiction great who sadly passed away last month. 7. "Action" Too crude and lewd for 1999 -- even for Fox -- the complete run of Jay Mohr's titillating Tinseltown series finally finds a home on DVD. 8. VW TV spots Crack character thesp Peter Stormare lays down the pain as a ''Vee-Dub'' auto engineer pimping the company's new rides. 9. "Lady and the Tramp" It doesn't really seem like 50 years since Disney combined pasta and puppy love, but then, you're not a dog. A cartoon classic on a best-in-show DVD. Review: "Lady and the Tramp" 10. "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" He's back! In this roof-rattling documentary, director Michel Gondry chronicles the comic's attempt to organize an urban Woodstock.
