Sources: Gunmen kill Arafat cousin

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- An unknown number of masked gunmen shot and killed a cousin of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at his Gaza City home early Wednesday and abducted his son, Palestinian security sources said.

At one time, Maj. Gen. Moussa Arafat served as the Palestinian public security commander when his cousin, who died in November 2004, was Palestinian Authority president.

The whereabouts of Moussa Arafat's son were not immediately known, security sources told CNN.
