Israeli diplomat wounded in Ethiopia

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Israel's Ambassador to Ethiopia Doron Grossman was found with a gunshot wound in his Addis Ababa hotel room Wednesday, an Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

The Israeli government's initial assessment of the incident was that the shooting was not terrorist related, the spokesman said.
