Pakistan arrests al Qaeda suspects

(CNN) -- Pakistan arrested two suspected members of al Qaeda this week in the southwestern city of Quetta following a shootout that left a third suspect dead, Pakistani government and intelligence sources told CNN.

According to an intelligence official, one of the two men in captivity is a Pakistani, while the nationality of the other was not immediately revealed.

Authorities also did not provide the identity of the dead man.

Quetta is the capital of Balouchistan province.
