ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- Six people were killed and 95 were injured as a ship of the Pakistani navy caught fire at the Karachi dockyard, the navy said Thursday.
Of the injured, 55 were in critical condition, it said.
According to the navy, maintenance work was being carried out on the Mauvin, which was loaded with oil, when the fire broke out at 3 p.m. Thursday.
It was extinguished after being battled for an hour by dozens of fire brigades.
An initial investigation indicated the fire was the result of human error and ruled out possibility of terrorism, the navy said.
