(CNN) -- From aircrafts to airports, luggage to lounges, design is a key part of every business trip. In this month's show, we'll be talking to the style gurus who shape the world of travel. As well as looking at some of the iconic designs of the jet age, we'll also explore what the future holds. Terminal solutionsHave you ever considered what goes into the design of an airport? It's a tough task to balance the increasing demands of a growing number of passengers and new aircraft while optimizing retail opportunities. We don our hard hats as we get access to London Heathrow's under-construction Terminal Five and its design team. British architect Norman Foster's design team also talks us through the process of creating Stansted airport, near London. There's also a taste of Scandinavian style at Oslo's Lufthavn airport. Plane clothesFor airlines, staff uniforms are an important embodiment of their brand, so much so that many enlist the services of top international designers. On this month's show, we give air stewards a new catwalk to strut their stuff. We send them down a fashion runway at Heathrow's main runway, where up-and-coming fashion designer Giles Deacon will tell us which airline scores highest when it comes to uniforms. We also find out about some of the new clothes that designer Thomas Pink has introduced which are tailored to the business traveler in a hurry. Hotels of the futureIt's no longer simply about a bed for the night. Hotels are embracing design to the extent that some are becoming travel destinations in their own right. We explore the exciting designs for London's space age Power Station hotel, and check in to more traditional hotel experience a the ultra-chic G Hotel recently opened by milliner Philip Treacy in Galway, Ireland. We also look at showcase hotels like Dubai's Burj al-Arab and a hotel built around an aquarium in Berlin. Unpacking luggageBespoke luggage designer Bill Amberg unpacks the secrets of luxury travel bags. Style classicThis month is the 70-year anniversary of the DC-3 aircraft. We look at how this plane, from a design perspective, paved the way for today's commercial jet.
