ON CNN TV
(CNN) -- What is on your 2006 wish list when it comes to business travel?
Bigger beds on board? Perhaps graduating to the status of gold card holder, or testing out the new A380?
On this month's Christmas edition of CNN Business Traveller we head to Lapland in Finland, where Richard is on a quest to find Santa Claus to deliver his travel wish list in person.
So, what are some of the things you can expect next year? Business Traveller is finding out.
Just the business
Two new all business class airlines, Eos and Maxjet, will be in full swing next year. Quest travels on both to find out if what's on offer is indeed a class and a cut above.
Boeing's new 777 Worldliner broke the world record flying almost 12,000 miles without stopping. The plane will be rolled out early next year, changing point-to-point travel on long-haul trips.
Quest ventured on the maiden flight of the Boeing Worldliner and found out what its like to be in the air for 22 hours non-stop!
By next year the new odyssey bed will be rolled out. This is a revolutionary life-flat bed. There is no conversion needed as it is a bed already. We examine the trends in in-flight beds.
There are some very exciting things to look forward to in the world of business travel beyond 2006. We explore some of these including new biometric technology for airports, a flying taxi, luggage tagging and virtual conferencing.
We also get some insight from the major airlines, including an interview with Richard Branson, to find out what their hopes and plans are for the future.
We go on an Arctic Safari enjoying a husky dog ride, experience a reindeer sleigh and the beautiful Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights.
