(CNN) -- Forget the thousands of polls that turn out the obvious information on destinations, airlines and lounges. This month's CNN Business Traveller finds the top surveys that reveal the not so obvious.

We team up with Condé Nast Traveler, Skytrax surveys, Mercer consulting and New Scientist magazine to find those little nuggets of information that will help business travelers for whom only the best services available will do.

Best airline and best airport

Skytrax surveys have voted Cathay Pacific the best airline for 2005. CNN's Richard Quest travels to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific to find out what makes this airline a cut above the rest and why Chep Lap Kok (Hong Kong International Airport) has also been voted number one in the world.

Best city

It may have the lake, but according to consulting firm Mercer and their annual quality of life survey, Geneva has a lot more to offer.

It has been voted the best city in the world for overall quality of life. Based on ten criteria including everything from the political and social environment through to public services and transportation, Geneva turns out to be the best.

We explore why so many multinational companies and global non-government organizations (NGOs) have made this city their home.

Teaming up with the gadget guru from New Scientist magazine we find out the essential gadgets for the business traveler.

Best escape

We team up with Condé Nast Traveler magazine and venture to the Ananda Yoga retreat and spa in the Indian Himalayas, which has been voted the best getaway in the world.
