Marmalade glazed pork steaks
4 7-ounce pork butterfly steaks
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Sea salt and cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon sage leaves
1/3 cup breakfast orange marmalade
Heat a frying pan over high heat. Brush the pork with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add the pork and sage to the pan and cook for 2 minutes each side or until well-browned. Add the marmalade to the pan and cook for a further 2 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking. Serve the pork on steamed greens and spoon over the glaze.
Eat your greens stir-fry
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons grated ginger
12 oz. broccoli, sliced
5 oz. green or snake beans, trimmed
2 bok choy, quartered
3 oz. snow peas, trimmed
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup sherry or Chinese cooking wine
Heat a frying pan or wok over high heat. Add the oils, garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds. Add the broccoli, beans, bok choy and snow peas and cook for 3 minutes or until the vegetables are just tender. Add the hoisin and sherry or wine and cook for 1 minute. Serve with steamed rice and top with fried tofu if desired.
