YOUR E-MAIL ALERTS(Entertainment Weekly) -- A quick glance at the 31 new fall offerings from the six major networks might have you wondering if a lot of TV execs copied from each other's notes during development season. Science-fiction and supernatural shows are everywhere: "Invasion" and "The Night Stalker" on ABC, "Surface" on NBC, "Threshold" and "The Ghost Whisperer" on CBS, and "Supernatural" on the WB. It's all a little bit, well, scary. (For our money, "Invasion" and "Threshold" rank, respectively, first and second in the genre.) But fret not, TV lovers. The networks aren't completely out of fresh ideas.
