Arrest over Hungary bomb plot
(CNN) -- Hungarian national police arrested a 42-year-old Hungarian dentist of Palestinian origin Tuesday on suspicion of plotting to bomb a Jewish museum in Budapest, a police spokesman said.
The arrest came as Israeli President Moshe Katsav visited Budapest to dedicate a Holocaust museum, but police said the arrest was not connected to the visit.
The dentist told people a few months ago he wanted to blow up a Jewish museum in Budapest, police said.
Two Syrian nationals who were with the dentist were questioned by police.
