I have no problem with security checks and fingerprinting visitors to the U.S. But, I do have issues with using fingerprints for online purchasing of tickets. It was hard enough for people to get over the fear of using their credit cards online. Bonita Cady, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

I cannot understand the anger over our impending visa legislation, and find it hard to believe that a traveler would not gladly spend a bit more time or money if it increases safety. Discount Airlines are going to be the way of the future. They are able to offer less expensive flights to cities that have been traditionally expensive to fly to, plus they offer some of the most flexible stand-by policies. James Steiner, Miami, Florida
