(CNN) -- We received thousands of e-mails in the days after December's tsunamis from people seeking news of friends and relatives in areas affected by the disaster.
The e-mails are alphabetized by the missing person's last name.
Am looking for my friend Abeye Ayele. He is staying in Nairobi, Kenya. I'm just wondering if he is OK.
Looking for Tom Burke. He was on Lamu and wrote an e-mail to his parents 30 minutes before it hit. He is about 26, brown hair, under 6' tall. He is writing a novel and is from Evanston, Illinois.
Updates: Tom Burke has been heard from. Could you please post an update that Tom's father has heard from him? He is fine and was not affected by the tsunami. Thank you.
Cromwell, Todd and Bernice
My parents, Bernice and Todd Cromwell, are staying in Kenya in a small village on vacation. They are from Bellevue, Washington, and are the owners of Wineworth LLC, a wine importing business. I have not heard from them or their business managers in Bellevue as to their well-being. If someone knows their whereabouts, could they please e-mail me? I'm very worried. Thank you.
My Swedish son, Bjorn Jacobsen is on vacation with his Kenyan girlfriend Winnie and her family, in Kenya. I haven't heard from him since Christmas eve, when he called from a place south of Mombasa. He's 1.86 m high, has brown eyes and short dark blond hair. Update: My son Bjorn Jacobsen is OK! I heard from him today. Please remove him from the list of missing persons.
